
Lori Hinkle, FPQP™
Lori’s role for MoneyWise Retirement is managing all aspects of business operations for Retirement Income Certified Professional, Dr. Brenda Dozier. She produces retirement seminars, performs paraplanner duties for clients, builds relationships with new clients, maintains relationships with current clients, manages MoneyWise Retirement social media, and manages day-to-day office functions.
She is currently studying for the GRE and plans on earning a master’s degree in Organizational Management. She has also earned the certification of a Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional from the College for Financial Planning.
Prior to her work in the financial industry, she spent over a decade in the broadcast journalism industry. Lori was awarded an EMMY in 2016 for her work at CBS in Nashville, TN. She was also nominated an additional three times for the prestigious EMMY Award.
She received her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with a specialty in Broadcast Journalism and minors in Spanish and economics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she was a college cheerleader. Since moving to Atlanta in the fall of 2017, Lori has earned professional certificates from Emory University in Social Media Marketing and Email Marketing.
Lori takes pride in serving the community as a member of the Junior League of Atlanta. She is on the marketing council, where she serves as the PR Lead for various fundraising throughout the year. Through the Junior League, her service hours are mostly at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta, but has joyfully completed hundreds of volunteer hours for multiple charities, such as Open Hand, Hands on Atlanta, Pajama Program, Agape, Atlanta Botanical Gardens, Kids in the Kitchen, Meals on Wheels, and many more.
When Lori is not working or studying, she is on the courts competing in USTA singles tournaments or playing doubles with her ALTA team. You can also find her doing crossfit, kayaking, or discovering nature trails.
